On November 18–19, the Rectors’ Forum of Higher Education Institutions of Uzbekistan and Germany is taking place in Berlin, Germany. The forum serves as an important platform aimed at expanding academic and scientific cooperation between the universities of the two countries, launching joint projects, and strengthening academic exchange programs.

The delegation of the National University of Uzbekistan — First Vice-Rector Jabbor Muhammadiyev and Head of the Department for Work with International Students Ulugbek Oxundodayev — is taking part in this event. Within the framework of the forum, the delegation held meetings with leading German educational and research institutions and reached agreements to expand cooperation to a new level.

In this regard, the National University of Uzbekistan signed memorandums of cooperation with Leibniz University Hannover and the Märkisches Institute for Innovation and Technology Research in the field of scientific and innovative collaboration. These agreements aim to foster joint research, innovative projects, and academic exchange of faculty members and students.
Additionally, the university signed cooperation memorandums with the Technical University of Berlin and the University of Bremen. These partnerships are directed toward improving the quality of education, launching joint master’s programs, and expanding opportunities to participate in international grants.

The newly signed documents strengthen the strategic cooperation between the higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and Germany, once again confirming the growing academic and scientific ties between the two countries.
