On May 12–14, 2026, the traditional “Student Spring” festival was held at Karakalpak State University. A group of talented students from the National University of Uzbekistan participated in this prestigious youth forum alongside representatives from 10 other higher education institutions across the country. On the first day of the festival, the guests toured the academic buildings, the information-resource center, and the sports complexes of KSU, highly praising the facilities created for students.

As part of the rich three-day program, students demonstrated their knowledge in various spiritual, educational, and intellectual events. Notably, the youth took part in the “Zakovat Quiz” and “Debate” intellectual competitions, as well as poetry evenings organized by the “Young Book Lover” club. In addition, students visited prominent landmarks in the city of Nukus, including the Museum of Victims of Repressions, the Berdakh Karakalpak Museum of Literature and History, and the “Oq Qush” tourism complex, discovering the rich history and culture of the region.

Sports competitions also featured prominently throughout the festival. Students competed in football, volleyball, table tennis, chess, and checkers, promoting a healthy lifestyle. The cultural segment of the event left a lasting impression on everyone, featuring a performance by the “Jayhun” theater studio and screenings of national films. Furthermore, meetings held under the theme “Patriotic Youth – Builders of the Future of United Uzbekistan” served to further strengthen the sense of patriotism among the young participants.

The festival concluded with a grand friendship festival and a concert program under the motto “Youth of New Uzbekistan — The Land of Friendship of Peoples.” During the awarding ceremony, the actively participating students were honorably recognized and rewarded.
