NUU Young Journalists Defend Their Graduation Theses at Internship Bases

Today, the editorial office of the “Jahon adabiyoti” magazine under the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan hosted the defense of graduation qualification papers by graduating students of the Faculty of Journalism and Uzbek Philology of the National University of Uzbekistan.

The event brought together faculty members, industry experts, academic supervisors, and graduating students. The final attestation commission was chaired by Professor Fatkhiddin Mukhiddinov, Deputy Head of the Department for Preparing Analytical Content for Meetings and Regional Visits of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the defense, students presented the results of their research conducted on selected topics, highlighting the relevance, scientific novelty, and practical significance of their studies. The graduation papers addressed a wide range of current issues related to journalism, literary studies, linguistics, media space, creative writing, and modern communication processes.

Members of the commission thoroughly reviewed the theoretical and practical aspects of each work and provided recommendations for further improving the students’ research activities. During the defense, the students gave well-reasoned answers to questions from the commission, demonstrating their analytical thinking skills, ability to conduct independent research, and professional competencies.

It was emphasized that the defense of graduation qualification papers represents an important stage in assessing the theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired by students throughout their university studies.
