On June 11, 2026, the National University of Uzbekistan hosted a Women’s Education Forum on the theme “Educated Woman – Strong Society.”
The forum was attended by members of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Gulshana Berdinazarova Khudoyarova, Hilolakhon Karimjanovna Yusupova, and Madina Khasanovna Baratova, as well as Sevara Rustamovna Khashimova, Deputy Hokim of Almazar District and Head of the Family and Women’s Department. The event was moderated by Ra’no Rustamova, Advisor to the Rector on Women’s Affairs.
During the opening session, speakers highlighted the role of women in the development of society, the importance of increasing their participation in science and education, and expanding their involvement in socio-political life.
It was emphasized that Uzbekistan is currently creating broad opportunities to support women in obtaining education, acquiring professional skills, and engaging in scientific research. As a result, the number of female students in higher education institutions is increasing, along with the number of women conducting research, generating innovative ideas, and contributing to societal development.
The forum also underscored that an educated woman is a key factor in strengthening families, raising children, and advancing society. Participants noted that educated mothers play a decisive role in shaping the intellectual and moral potential of future generations.
In addition, proposals were put forward to further enhance women’s interest in education, support their initiatives, and strengthen their participation in public life.
At the conclusion of the forum, it was noted that supporting educated and active women and strengthening their role in society is an important factor in the country’s development.
