Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan is holding the “Best Tutor — 2026” competition to identify proactive and active tutors who achieve strong results in working with students.
The competition will be held in 3 nominations:
🥇 “Most Active Outreach Tutor” — participants will be evaluated based on their work with students in the spiritual and educational sphere, as well as their activity and initiative in organizing events.
📚 “Most Active Reading Tutor” — participants’ reading culture and knowledge of literary works, Uzbek literature, and representatives of the Jadid movement will be assessed through questions and tests.
💡 “Most Active Initiative Tutor” — initiatives aimed at improving tutoring activities, the practical implementation of proposals, and innovative approaches to tutoring will be taken into consideration.
To participate in the competition, applicants must submit:
- the tutor’s professional portfolio;
- documents relevant to the selected nomination;
- photo and video materials confirming the activities carried out.
📅 Faculty stage — until August 20.
🏛 University stage (final) — during the third ten-day period of August.
Participants who take 1st, 2nd or 3rd place at the faculty stage, as well as those who take 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in each nomination at the final stage, will receive diplomas and commemorative gifts. Other participants of the final stage will receive certificates.
Tutors who win prizes at the faculty stage are requested to submit the required documents to the Department for Work with Youth, Spirituality and Enlightenment by 5:00 p.m. on August 20 in order to participate in the next stage of the competition.
