Today, an international conference titled “Expanding Academic Exchange Between Central Asia and Japan” was held at the National University of Uzbekistan with the participation of representatives from Tohoku University, Japan.

During the event, discussions focused on taking cooperation between the two higher education institutions to a new level, implementing joint projects in education and scientific research, and expanding academic ties.

As part of the meeting, a memorandum on academic exchange was signed between the Faculty of Foreign Philology at the National University of Uzbekistan and the Graduate School of Education at Tohoku University.

Under the agreement, the parties aim to develop joint scientific and educational activities, establish faculty and researcher exchanges, expand educational and research exchanges for students, and cooperate on academic events.

Additionally, the parties agreed to enhance collaboration in the mutual exchange of scientific information and publications, as well as joint organization of lectures, conferences, seminars, and other academic events.

This agreement will serve to develop educational and scientific ties between the National University of Uzbekistan and Tohoku University, creating new academic opportunities for students, professors, and researchers.
