UN General Assembly Simulation Held at the National University of Uzbekistan

On the initiative of the Department of Political Science at the National University of Uzbekistan, a simulation of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly was organized, featuring the participation of students.

During the event, students took on the roles of representatives from leading nations, sharing their perspectives on pressing issues such as international relations, global challenges and their solutions, the development of international cooperation, and the protection of human rights.

This project serves to foster students’ political thinking, enhance their ability to analyze international processes, help them form independent positions on various issues, and strengthen their skills in developing proposals for solutions. Furthermore, such practical exercises provide a valuable opportunity for young people to cultivate skills in public speaking, negotiation, teamwork, and the ability to substantiate their own viewpoints.

At the conclusion of the event, Komolliddin Mirzarahimov, a professor in the Department of Political Science, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in preparing young professionals. He also noted that there are plans to organize this project in the future in collaboration with other higher education institutions. This serves to facilitate the exchange of experience among students, expand academic cooperation, and further increase interest in the field of international relations.

At the conclusion of the event, students who participated actively were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts by the university administration.
