1Information systemsFrom teaching science, the goal is to develop students ‘ knowledge and skills in the field of the basics of information systems and present examples of their application in practice. Discipline objective-this course is an introduction to the organizational and social context of information in a broad sense in the understanding of information systems. It also aims to formulate an appropriate balance of technical and organizational perspectives that will serve as a basis for students ‘ further learning.
2Numerical methodsFrom teaching science goal isstudentene to analyze the quality and features of the algorithm when solving various problems and create algorithms to be able to determine the type of a given task, the right to use solution methods and to determine the stability of these methods, to be able to solve problems on personal computers using programming languages with a predetermined accuracy when solving tasks, to be able to properly analyze the results of numerical calculations. The objective of the discipline is theoretical knowledge, practical skills and abilities training in function approximation, multiple differentiation and integration, numerical methods of algebra, differential equations with simple and partial derivatives, as well as techniques for repeatedly solving integral equations.

Finite element methodThe purpose of teaching the discipline is to teach how to apply variational methods to solving differential problems, to build a classification of elements and basis functions, to divide a given domain into finite elements, to solve a differential problem using the finite element method, to prove the approximation of the solution of an equation to the solution of a differential problem. The task of the discipline is to set a variational problem, calculate the approximation error, estimate the error rates, decompose linear and fractional polynomials of the function and their construction, apply the Ritz, Galerkin, least squares method, and teach you to check and analyze the constancy of the chosen method.

International cooperation is an integral part of the Department of Computational Mathematics and Information Systems and an important tool in ensuring the quality of education and its compliance with international standards.
The international activities of the department are aimed at improving the university’s position in the higher education system of the Russian Federation and further integration into the world educational and scientific community. This work is carried out within the framework of cooperation programs with leading universities, joint research activities, organization of scientific and practical seminars and conferences. In part, he conducts joint research activities with professors and teachers of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University (KazNPU), which is determined based on the results of the CSRWorld. In the world ranking of CS among pedagogical universities, Rankings2021 University is in the TOP 5 best pedagogical universities in the world, taking 601-650 th places.

In the course of cooperation, the following results were obtained:::

  • A difference scheme is constructed for solving the system of Sen – Venan for the one-dimensional case with a friction derivative and a varying slope in space.
  • A computational experiment was carried out, and a large object was chosen as the object of this experiment.Almaty Region Canal (Baku);
  • An approach to constructing adequate computational models for two-dimensional random problems is developed.
