On August 2 of this year, Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan, Inom Majidov, welcomed a delegation led by Visheish Chandrashekar, Director of Acharya Institute, India.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed proposals for launching business incubators and startup projects between professors, teachers, and students of Acharya Institute and the National University of Uzbekistan. Other topics included organizing short-term internships for students and involving professors from the Indian institute in the academic process.

The parties also considered potential collaboration in the fields of bioengineering and economics.
In addition, both institutions agreed to further explore directions for cooperation between their respective international relations departments.
