Today, on June 10, a delegation of professors from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology of the University of Zagreb — Elvira Vidović, Marijana Kraljić Roković, Hrvoje Kušić, and Zvonimir Katanić — visited the National University of Uzbekistan.

The guests were welcomed by Vice-Rector for International Relations Raima Shirinova, Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry Shakhnoza Qodirova, Head of the International Cooperation Department Javlon Madatov, and Head of the Department for the Transformation of Educational Infrastructure Nodir Narziev.

It is known that cooperation is being carried out with this university within the framework of the Erasmus+ program. Earlier this year, professors of the Faculty of Chemistry completed internships at the University of Zagreb.

This visit is also part of the Erasmus+ program, with the aim of completing an internship at our university. The delegation held negotiations with professors of the Faculty of Chemistry on future scientific projects, organizing international conferences, and participating in international grants.

Furthermore, an agreement was reached on cooperation in areas such as academic mobility exchange programs and organizing winter and summer schools for international students. As part of their internship, the professors from the University of Zagreb expressed their intention to conduct master classes for PhD and Master’s students and to establish a dual supervision system in the future.
