12 higher education institutions of Uzbekistan entered the Top 1000 list in the “THE Impact Rankings 2025” rating

On June 18, the prestigious international rating agency Times Higher Education (THE) announced the results of the “Impact Rankings 2025” (https://www.timeshighereducation.com/impactrankings#!/length/25/locations/UZB/sort_by/rank/sort_order/asc). According to the results of the rating, higher education institutions of Uzbekistan recorded the highest indicators in the region, becoming the absolute leaders in the Central Asia and Caucasus region.

The agency analyzed the contribution of universities to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations. It listed 59 higher education institutions of Uzbekistan, which is the highest result in the region.

It is gratifying that 12 higher education institutions of Uzbekistan have taken worthy places in the list of the Top 1000 universities in the world. Among them, 3 universities were recorded in the highest ranking – 201-300 places (https://gov.uz/oz/edu/news/view/62114):
