International round table: the role of Russian literature in foreign cultural space was discussed

An international round table on the topic “Russian literature in foreign cultural environment: trends and prospects” was held at the National University of Uzbekistan. The event was organized by the Department of Russian Literary Studies of the Faculty of Journalism and Uzbek Philology.

The round table was attended by leading literary scholars, representatives of publishing houses, writers, poets, professors and teachers from the USA, Turkey, Canada, Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. It discussed the current state of Russian literature in foreign cultural space, prospects for its development, current problems in the process of translation and artistic reception.

During the scientific dialogue, an exchange of views took place on the specifics of modern poetry in Russian, as well as the features of its international recognition. The participants of the event shared experiences and actively discussed current issues.

The international round table served to develop scientific cooperation between researchers from different countries, strengthen cultural ties and identify new directions in literary studies.
