Today, May 8, a delegation consisting of Ravshan Musurmanov, Vice-Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan, and Komil Inakov, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, visited Renmin University of China and Beijing Foreign Studies University in Beijing, the capital of the People’s Republic of China.
The activities of the Center for Social Studies, which is being established at the National University of Uzbekistan to conduct scientific research on the possibilities of integrating China’s “One Road – One Belt” initiative and the Uzbekistan – 2030 Development Strategy, in collaboration with Renmin University of China and the National University of Uzbekistan, and the dates of the opening ceremony of this Center were discussed.
At the meeting held at Beijing Foreign Studies University, the future areas of cooperation between the National University of Uzbekistan and this institution, their prospects, as well as current issues such as the establishment of a Chinese language center at the National University of Uzbekistan and an Uzbek language center at Beijing Foreign Studies University were discussed, and a memorandum of cooperation was signed following the meeting.
