A conference was organized at the initiative of the Department of Cartography of the Faculty of Geography and Geoinformation Systems at the National University of Uzbekistan.

At the international scientific-practical conference on the topic "The role of modern geo-informational cartography, remote sensing methods and technologies in geographic research", several foreign HEIs (Russia, Belarus, Germany, Finland, Austria, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, etc.) teachers and heads of state organizations of co-production and professors and teachers of higher education institutions of the republic took part.
