A practical session for school students was organized at the National University of Uzbekistan

A practical session was organized for senior students of School No. 261 of Almazar district at the National University of Uzbekistan, held in the H. Hasanov Globe Room of the Faculty of Geography and Geoinformation Systems. The event was attended by experienced professors and instructors of the faculty.

During the session, students were provided with detailed information about a unique scientific object — the globe, including its history of creation, scientific and practical significance, as well as interesting facts related to it. The size of the globe, its distinctive features, the arrangement of continents and oceans, the system of geographic coordinates, and its differences from other similar models were thoroughly explained.

This practical lesson enabled students to better understand theoretical knowledge through real-life examples and strengthened their interest in the subject. At the same time, familiarization with the university environment served as an important factor in helping them make a conscious choice of their future educational path.

Such meetings and master classes are significant in ensuring continuity between different levels of education, developing the intellectual potential of young people, and engaging them more actively in the academic and educational environment.
