Safety and Legal Culture of Students — A Priority Task

The National University of Uzbekistan hosted a “Leadership and Youth Dialogue” featuring management and experts from the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Organized as an open discussion, the event aimed to enhance students’ legal literacy and protect them from contemporary threats.

The meeting was opened by Yoqub Ergashev, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, and Adham Odinaev, Deputy Head of the Law Enforcement Academy. The speakers emphasized that supporting youth initiatives and fostering a zero-tolerance attitude toward offenses is a crucial direction of state policy.

During the event, subject matter experts delivered lectures on pressing issues. Specifically, Bunyod Kudratov, Head of the Center, focused on modern threats in the digital world and cybersecurity measures. Senior lecturer Davron Mirzaxodjayev highlighted crime prevention and the devastating consequences of drug addiction through analytical data.

Throughout the dialogue, students received detailed answers to their questions. Practical recommendations regarding the fight against cybercrime and digital investigation processes drew particular interest from the participants.

In conclusion, it was noted that regular meetings of this nature serve as a vital foundation for nurturing youth in the spirit of involvement in the country’s development.
