Foreign Students Festival Held at the National University of Uzbekistan

Today, the National University of Uzbekistan hosted a festival of international students under the motto “One Family — Diverse Cultures — One Future.” The event was significant in promoting friendship, mutual respect, and harmony among representatives of different nationalities and cultures. It was attended by the university leadership, vice-rectors, department heads, faculty members, as well as local and international students from various countries.

The festival was opened by Vice-Rector for International Relations Komil Inoqov. In his speech, he emphasized that such events play an important role in fostering an atmosphere of openness in society and strengthening interethnic friendship. It was also noted that respect for different nations and ethnic groups has long been a highly valued tradition in the country.

The most vibrant and memorable part of the event was the cultural program prepared by international students. It featured artistic and musical performances, national songs and dances, and stage presentations reflecting the rich cultural diversity of different nations. In addition, participants presented an exhibition of traditional dishes from various countries, showcasing their cultural heritage and national values.

During the event, special attention was paid to the role of youth in this process. It was highlighted that students, by presenting their own traditions while learning about others, contribute significantly to the development of tolerance and mutual respect.

Within the framework of the festival, participants were provided with opportunities to demonstrate their talents and creative potential. It was also announced that, as a continuation of such initiatives, intellectual games “Zakovat,” innovation project competitions, and various sports events are planned.

At the conclusion, it was emphasized that such festivals contribute not only to strengthening friendship among students but also to expanding cooperation with foreign higher education institutions and developing international relations.
