A Career Day and practical Workshop aimed at promoting graduate employment was held at the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs.
The event was attended by senior officials from sectoral services and regional divisions of the internal affairs system. More than 200 graduating students took part in the meeting, which was conducted in a practical workshop format.

The main purpose of the event was to familiarize graduates with career opportunities in law enforcement agencies, available vacancies, requirements for candidates, and prospects for building a career in public service.
During the meeting, responsible officials provided detailed information on ongoing reforms in the internal affairs system, modern кадровая policy, recruitment procedures, social guarantees, and opportunities created for young professionals.
As part of the workshop, students were introduced to various areas of internal affairs activities, including prevention, investigation, public safety, cybersecurity, migration and citizenship processing, and оперативно-search operations.
At the end of the event, participants received detailed information about available job vacancies, recruitment procedures, and opportunities for future cooperation.
For reference, 8,103 students are expected to graduate from the university in the 2025/2026 academic year. To support their employment, the university regularly organizes job fairs, Career Days, workshops, and open dialogues in cooperation with government bodies, major organizations, and enterprises.
