NUUz Representatives Participate in an International Event in Italy Aimed at Advancing Cybersecurity Education

An international scientific and practical event is taking place from 26 to 30 October this year at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna — SSSA) in Pisa, Italy, within the framework of Cyber4CA, an Erasmus+ project focused on developing an innovative cybersecurity education programme for the digital labour market in Central Asia. A team from Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan is also participating in the event.

The event brings together partner higher education institutions from Europe and Central Asia, representatives of relevant ministries, and industry experts to discuss the training of cybersecurity professionals, the improvement of educational programmes, and the establishment of modern laboratories.

Experts from the Technical University of Madrid (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid — UPM), the University of Antwerp (UAntwerp), Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (SSSA), and the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest (UNSTPB) are sharing their experience in delivering cybersecurity education in line with GLP requirements and establishing and equipping specialised laboratories. Practical sessions on cybersecurity systems are also being conducted with the participation of industrial companies.

The recommendations developed during the event will support the development of the CyberLab infrastructure at NUUz, strengthen the integration of cybersecurity education and practical training, and expand international cooperation.
