Practical measures are underway to implement Resolution No. PQ-135 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated April 26, 2023, “On Additional Measures to Accelerate the Development of the Country’s Tourism Potential and Further Increase the Number of Domestic and Foreign Tourists.”

On October 23 of this year, D. Mukhamedova, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan; B. Ergashev, Deputy Dean; and A. Tulyaev, Head of the Department of Philosophy, jointly with A. Rasulov, Deputy Hokim of Khavast District for Youth Policy, Social Development, and Spiritual and Educational Affairs, organised short-term professional development courses for employees of tourism and service businesses operating in the district.

The main objectives of the courses are to improve the quality of tourism and service provision in Khavast District, enhance the professional skills and communication culture of service industry employees, and develop their ability to provide high-quality services to domestic and international tourists in line with modern standards.
The theoretical knowledge and practical recommendations provided by university scholars and industry specialists are aimed at strengthening employees’ professional competencies and improving the quality of tourism and service provision across the district.
