The agreements reached during the official visit of the National University of Uzbekistan (NUUz) delegation to the Republic of Korea in March are now yielding tangible results. Previous negotiations with leading Korean higher education institutions, particularly the prestigious Konkuk University, established a solid foundation for expanding grant opportunities for students and revitalizing bilateral cooperation.

As a strategic continuation of this partnership, a high-level delegation from Konkuk University visited NUUz on April 21. The meeting focused on collaborative efforts for the upcoming “Summer School” program, as well as institutionalizing regular faculty exchange programs and mutual academic visits.

A significant outcome of the discussions was the final agreement on enrolling NUUz students into special grant programs offered by Konkuk University. During the visit, a dedicated session was held between the delegation members and NUUz students, providing detailed insights into these new academic opportunities and scholarship programs.
