The National University of Uzbekistan held a Republican scientific and practical conference on the topic “Current problems of protecting the biodiversity of Uzbekistan and their solutions”. It was attended by prominent scientists, professors and teachers of the republic and young researchers.
The conference will discuss the conservation of biodiversity in Uzbekistan, the ecological state of the fauna and flora, modern methods of their protection, as well as scientific developments in the study of various biological species. Scientific reports were read in two sections: vertebrates and invertebrates.
The scientific presentations deeply analyzed various animal species such as birds, fish, reptiles, insects, nematodes, butterflies, mollusks, their ecological and morphological characteristics, distribution areas and impact on human activity.
Some of the research is of great practical importance in maintaining ecological balance and combating biopesticides in agriculture.
This conference is not only a platform for scientific exchange, but also an opportunity for young scientists to present their research, exchange experiences with experts in the field, and put forward new ideas. Such initiatives to preserve biodiversity are an important step towards ensuring the ecological stability of Uzbekistan and ensuring that its natural resources are preserved in a healthy state for future generations.
