Future Biologists and Ecologists Successfully Defend Master’s Theses at National University of Uzbekistan

Master’s thesis defenses were organized at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, aiming to showcase the scientific potential of talented youth and widely promote innovative research.

Specifically, postgraduate students specializing in “Biology”, “Biotechnology”, and “Soil Science” at the Faculty of Biology and Ecology successfully defended their research papers. The researchers presented highly relevant topics focused on biodiversity conservation, the implementation of modern biotechnological methods into practice, enhancing soil fertility, and addressing environmental issues.

Furthermore, the defense processes were conducted in cooperation with prestigious research institutes specializing in the respective fields:

  • At the Institute of Biophysics and Biochemistry: Master’s students in “Biophysics and Biochemistry” presented their work on molecular biology, cell physiology, and modern laboratory technologies. Their research findings were highly acknowledged for their practical significance.

  • At the Institute of Zoology of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan: Graduates in “Ecology” defended their scientific developments in environmental protection, ecological monitoring, and the impact of anthropogenic factors on nature.

The defense sessions were attended by members of the State Attestation Commission, renowned professors, faculty members, and industry experts. The commission members highly praised the young scientists’ independent thinking, their skills in applying modern research methods, and emphasized the significance of their proposals for industrial and practical application.
