Today, the building of the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan (NTRC) hosted the defense of master’s dissertations and bachelor’s graduation works (BMI) for the graduates of the Faculty of Journalism and Uzbek Philology at the National University of Uzbekistan.
The final state attestation process was chaired by Fatxiddin Muhiddinov, Deputy Head of the Department for the Preparation of Analytical Content for Meetings and Visits to Regions of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Professor.
The commission members included Elyor To‘laganov, Director of the “Yoshlar” TV channel, Mahliyo Mirsoatova, Head of the Journalism Department, and Shuhrat Lakayev, Head of the University’s Education Quality Control Department. They conducted a comprehensive analysis of the students’ scientific and creative research.
During the event, graduates presented the results of their research on pressing issues in journalism, the media space, and modern communication processes. In their presentations, students justified the scientific novelty and practical significance of their topics, demonstrating analytical thinking and professional skills.
The commission members focused on the theoretical and practical aspects of each work and provided young specialists with valuable recommendations for further improving their scientific and professional activities.
Holding defenses at such practical bases provides a solid foundation for testing the knowledge acquired by students during their higher education directly by industry experts. At the end of the event, all graduates were wished success in their future endeavors.
