Systematic work aimed at providing students and graduates with employment continues consistently at the National University of Uzbekistan. Today, the next “Career Day” job fair organized at the Faculty of History of the university brought together students, graduates and employers in one place. About 30 large employers from state and non-state organizations, educational and cultural institutions, archives, museums and scientific centers participated in the event.
During the fair, direct communication was established between graduates and employers, students were provided with available vacancies and cooperation opportunities. Also, innovative and socially significant startup projects of students of the faculty were demonstrated. As part of the event, an “Open Doors Day” was also organized for school graduates, who had the opportunity to get acquainted with the 90-year history of the faculty, educational areas, admission quotas and modern conditions.
For information, the Faculty of History is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year. More than 700 graduates are expected to graduate from the faculty in 2026, and so far about 79% of them have found their place in the labor market. These indicators indicate that the integration of education, science and practice has been effectively established. These initiatives serve the implementation of priority tasks aimed at ensuring the employment of graduates in the country, and “Career Day” events are being gradually continued at the faculties of the university.
