A “Rector’s Cup” sports competition was organized among students of general secondary schools in Tashkent’s Almazar District affiliated with the National University of Uzbekistan under the slogan “Sport – a Platform for Friendship and Unity.”

🔺 Teams from eight general secondary schools in Almazar District took part in the competition. Students competed in mini-football and volleyball, demonstrating their physical fitness, teamwork, and sporting skills.

🔺 The main objective of the competition was to provide meaningful leisure activities for students, promote a healthy lifestyle, strengthen the spirit of mutual respect and friendship, and further foster patriotic values among young people.

According to the results of the competition, the winners and prize-winners were determined as follows:

Mini-Football (Boys)
🥇 1st place — Team of Secondary School No. 191;
🥈 2nd place — Team of Secondary School No. 261.

Volleyball (Girls)
🥇 1st place — Team of Secondary School No. 261;
🥈 2nd place — Team of Secondary School No. 111;
🥉 3rd place — Team of Secondary School No. 191.

Volleyball (Boys)
🥇 1st place — Team of Secondary School No. 111.

At the conclusion of the competition, the winning and prize-winning teams were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts.
