On April 24, 2026, an international scientific and practical conference was organized at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek onthe traditional theme “Russian Language and Literature in the Modern World – 2026”. The event was held by the Faculty of Journalism and Uzbek Philology and was dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the famous Russian philologist. It was attended by experts in the field of assistance and competent higher education.

The conference widely discussed issues of Russian linguistics and literary studies, the Russian language, modern translation studies in the history of the conference. , presentations were made on the effective use of modern pedagogical systems and software technologies in the educational process. Participants exchanged best practices and put forward proposals for the development of scientific cooperation.
