CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE EDUCATIONAL AND PRACTICAL SEMINAR ON "THE ROLE OF YOUTH IN SOLUTION OF CLIMATE CHANGE AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS IN UZBEKISTAN"

On July 24, 2023, within the framework of the "Anchor school for youth climate action in Central Asia" project dedicated to the support of youth climate action in Central Asia, an educational and practical seminar on the topic "The role of youth in solving climate change and environmental problems in Uzbekistan" was launched.

    On July 27, 2023, the closing ceremony of this educational and practical seminar was held. Rector of Perfekt University D. Turgunov, NUUz professors F. Hikmatov, H. Egamberdiyev, researcher of Reading University (Great Britain) G. Mamadzhanova, senior researcher of James Cook University (Australia) Ben Jarikhani participated as guests and experts. .

Based on the knowledge gained during the 3-day seminar, the participants presented to the experts the projects prepared by the participants on solving climate changes and environmental problems.


Yaqub Ergashov, vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations, was at the University of Reading in England and met with professor Vitaly Kutoryansky, director of the Center for Physico-Chemical Research and Analysis at this foreign educational institution.

The foreign professor introduced the activities of the University of Reading and the scientific and research activities carried out in the center.

At the meeting, an agreement was reached to establish active cooperation between universities in the field of scientific research, to create opportunities for Uzbek researchers and doctoral students to exchange experience at Reading University.
