Today, January 29, a delegation led by Professor Liu Zuokui, Director of the Institute of World History of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), paid an official visit to the National University of Uzbekistan. The delegation was received by the Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan, Inom Madjidov, and a constructive dialogue was held.

During the meeting, the parties introduced their respective activities and expressed satisfaction with the establishment of cooperation. The Chinese side recognized the National University of Uzbekistan as one of the most reputable partners in Uzbekistan and highly praised its academic and research potential.

Agreements were reached on conducting joint research in the field of history, implementing collaborative research projects, publishing academic articles in prestigious journals, as well as organizing research internships for master’s and doctoral students.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed to strengthen cooperation and ensure the implementation of the initial agreements.
