Today, January 30, a preventive meeting was held at the National University of Uzbekistan to combat and prevent cybercrime among youth. It was attended by the university leadership, heads of relevant departments, deputy deans for youth affairs and spiritual and educational affairs, and students.
The event was opened by the first vice-rector of the university, Jabbor Muhammadiev, with an introductory speech and in his speech he noted that ensuring security in the digital environment and forming a culture of cybersecurity among young people are one of the urgent tasks of today.

Lieutenant Colonel Kahramon Ergashev, a graduate student at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, provided detailed information on current issues related to cybercrime. Also, opinions were expressed on the importance of digital control mechanisms in ensuring cybersecurity, preventing corruption and lawlessness, as well as increasing the legal responsibility of young people.
During the event, comprehensive explanations were given on the topic and detailed answers were given to questions of interest to students.
