On March 25, 2026, the international ranking agency Quacquarelli Symonds released the results of the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026, once again confirming the significant progress of the National University of Uzbekistan across academic disciplines.

🇺🇿 According to the results, the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek has secured достойные positions among the world’s leading universities in several subject areas. Importantly, these results demonstrate steady growth and a strong upward movement in global rankings:

TOP-300. Archaeology entered the rankings for the first time, placing 201–260.
TOP-350. Mathematics climbed 100 positions, strengthening its place in the 301–350 band.
TOP-350. Linguistics entered the rankings for the first time, placing 301–350.
TOP-500. Physics and Astronomy rose by 200 positions, securing a stable position within 401–450.

These achievements clearly demonstrate that the National University of Uzbekistan is not only a national leader but is also steadily strengthening its position in the global academic arena, emerging as a strong and increasingly recognized university.
