Students and teachers of the Faculty of Journalism and Uzbek Philology of the National University of Uzbekistan took part in the international PR and advertising festival “Joogazin” held at the National University of Kyrgyzstan named after Jusup Bolosogun. Within the framework of the three-day event, an international scientific and practical conference, a round table, a PR debate and a competition of practical research were organized on the topic “Communications for Sustainable Development: Green Economy and Social Responsibility”. 16 teams and more than 100 participants from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Kazakhstan took part in the festival.
This festival is significant in that it is aimed at supporting young talents, encouraging the creation of quality media content, and developing the advertising and PR industry. Participants presented their video business cards and PR strategies developed for various companies and brands. Workshops, trainings, case study competitions, and scientific discussions also served to improve the professional skills of young people.
