A “Career Day” job fair was organized at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek. The event was held to implement the tasks outlined by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan during a meeting with youth on February 24 of this year, particularly the directives aimed at ensuring full employment of higher education graduates. The event holds special significance as a practical expression of an important state-level initiative.
Nearly 200 organizations and enterprises from various sectors of the national economy participated in the fair, offering more than 10,000 job vacancies. Around 20,000 students and young people attended the event, demonstrating that it has become a broad platform of opportunities for youth. In the current academic year, more than 8,000 students are expected to graduate from the university, and approximately 60% of them have already been employed.

In recent years, the outcomes in ensuring graduate employment have shown a positive trend. In particular, according to the results of the 2024–2025 academic year, more than 96% of over 7,300 graduates of the university were employed. This figure has significantly increased compared to the same period last year, confirming the effectiveness of the systematic efforts being carried out.
Modern digital solutions are also being effectively utilized within the framework of the fair. In particular, the osonish.uz platform provides access to information on more than 40,000 job vacancies across the country. During the event, students and graduates communicate directly with employers, present their resumes, and gain opportunities to secure suitable jobs. Such a comprehensive approach plays an important role in facilitating the rapid and effective integration of young people into the labor market.
