The department is a structural unit of the Registrar’s Office, which carries out activities such as the effective and systematic organization of academic activities at the university, management of the credit-module system of education, automation and coordination of educational processes, optimization of the decision-making process aimed at improving the quality of education through the formation and analysis of a database.
The department consists of 1 head of department and 12 responsible deputy deans. The department carries out its activities through the following main functional tasks:
- organizing work with applications from legal entities and individuals in accordance with the established procedure, formalizing, keeping records and ensuring their execution of relevant orders regarding students;
- timely and correctly entering relevant information about students into the “HEMIS” information system, keeping records, analyzing and monitoring them, and coordinating the educational process through the information system;
- attaching existing subjects in the curriculum to semesters through the “HEMIS” information system, creating and editing curricula, forming a base of subjects;
- organizing re-mastering and passing for students, determining the difference between subjects and the difference in credits in subjects, issuing permits and keeping records;
- receiving, storing, keeping records of students’ personal files, ensuring the completeness of relevant documents and submitting them to the university archive within the established deadlines transfer;
- accept, store, formalize, publish, approve and submit forms of documents in strict accordance with the established procedure (diploma and its application forms, etc.);
- regularly correspond with organizations and institutions via the platforms https://otm.mehnat.uz and http://d-arxiv.edu.uz regarding the authenticity of diplomas awarded to graduating students and issue duplicates in place of lost diplomas and applications in the established procedure;
- summarize, analyze and keep records of various statistical data on students, resources, contracts, classes, student learning and other information related to the activities of the department;
the department also performs other tasks within the framework of its activities, in addition to the above functional tasks.
