Professor Leonidas Sakalauskas, Doctor of Technical Sciences at the University of Vitautas Magnus, Lithuania, visited the Faculty of Journalism and Uzbek Philology and gave a lecture on an interesting topic on “Ontology and Semantic Technologies” for master’s students in “Computer Linguistics.”

The foreign scientist also spoke about his work on international projects and invited young researchers to participate in international conferences. He spoke about the prospects of cooperation with the National University of Uzbekistan.

This lecture, organized at the initiative of the Department of Computational Linguistics and Applied Linguistics, was interesting and useful for master’s students.
