On January 10 of this year, the National University of Uzbekistan, together with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Department of German Philology of the Faculty of Foreign Philology, organized a seminar called “Arbeiten mit Karten” (“Working with maps”) for the teaching staff of the Department of German Philology.

The master class was conducted by a representative of the DAAD organization in Uzbekistan, a teacher of the Department of German Philology of the National University of Uzbekistan Daniel Gallmann.

The master class emphasized the importance of using geographical maps as teaching material in German lessons, its methodological aspects, and also consolidated this knowledge through various tasks and assignments.

For your information, since 2021, German expert Daniel Gallmann has been providing students of the Department of German Philology with knowledge on subjects such as “Сountry studies” and “Practical Aspects of the Studied Language”, and also provides them with practical assistance with various grants and scholarships in Germany.
