National University of Uzbekistan Hosts Presentation of New Generation Political Science Literature

The National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek held a presentation for new educational publications of significant importance to the country’s socio-political life and the education system. The event showcased new books authored by professors of the Political Science Department — Doctor of Political Sciences Bakhtiyor Omonov and Doctor of Political Sciences Kamoliddin Mirzaahmedov — with the participation of industry specialists, experts, and students.

During the event, several works by Professor Bakhtiyor Omonov, focused on the deep scientific analysis of political culture and the civil service system, were introduced. Specifically, his textbook “Political Culture and Ideology” provides a systematic overview of the formation of political consciousness, modern ideological models such as liberalism, conservatism, and social democracy, as well as political leadership issues.

In the monograph “Political Culture of Youth,” the author analyzes mechanisms for protecting young people from ideological threats, increasing their socio-innovative activity, and developing their participation in state affairs. Meanwhile, the manual “State Civil Service” details the rules of ethics for civil servants, professional competencies, and the legal framework for anti-corruption efforts.

Additionally, the new educational literature presented by Professor Kamoliddin Mirzaahmedov drew attention for its relevance and practical value. It was noted that his work “Applied Political Science” serves as an essential guide for studying the practical aspects of managing political processes and decision-making.

Furthermore, his book “Public Administration” analyzes methods for improving the efficiency of modern management systems and the state apparatus. The textbook “Introduction to Political Science” was highlighted as a fundamental resource for the younger generation to master the basics of political science and its core concepts.

Speakers at the event acknowledged that the works of both scholars are vital in conveying the essence and significance of the political reforms currently being implemented in Uzbekistan to the youth. These publications have been recommended as essential reading for political science students and researchers, not only at the National University of Uzbekistan but also at all related higher education institutions.
