On June 30, 2021, a delegation led by Pavan Abraham, the executive director of the PeopleHive (USA) organization, visited the National University of Uzbekistan. The delegation was welcomed by UzMU Vice-Rector for International Relations Rahima Shirinova and representatives of the Department of Work with Foreign Students.

The main purpose of this visit is to attract foreign citizens to study at the university, to facilitate the establishment of relations with the universities of India and Europe to organize the academic mobility of students and graduates, to cooperate with leading foreign universities in the fields of medicine, business, information technology and engineering. is to open joint educational programs.
